Paolo Becker, who learned his craft at the side of his father Fritz, is
one of the most celebrated pipe makers in Italy today. A serious student
of pipe-making, Paolo has spent the last 25 years refining and
perfecting the style of pipe making created by he and his father in the
1970s; a style blends and combines the styles of various pipe making
schools and regions to great effect. Paolo's aesthetic is markedly
unlike that of other Italian pipe makers, blending German, Danish and
English styles in with those of his native Italy.
