Tom Eltang: Rusticated Cutty

Sold in store 8/3. The Tom Eltang cutty, along with his poker, are quite probably the two most readily identifiable forms in the high grade pipe world. While semanticists (and I am one) would insist that this shape is actually a belge, due to having a lack of foot, we do not have a belge included in the shape title drop down selector...so "cutty" it is. Prior to running across Tom Eltang's unique take on the form, I had always thought that the cutty/belge was an interesting shape, in a timeless, traditional "pub and pint" sort of way. Tom's modernist approach speaks to me of flow, elegance and sophistication. Judging from the shape's unflagging popularity, it would appear that I am hardly alone.
